Mingle at our Memory Cafe!
What is a Memory Café? In 1997, Dutch pyschiatrist Bere Miesen introduced the idea of a place were those living with dementia and their caregivers can mingle in a comfortable and fun environment — a Memory Café! This concept successfully made its way to the U.S. in 2008.
Who can attend a Memory Café? EVERYONE! Caregivers are invited to bring their loved one living with dementia to relax and grab a bite to eat together in a casual, supportive environment. The group is held in a private room, and full of conversation, fun and meaningful connections. And, of course, laughter and camaraderie are always on the menu!
The Memory Café is free and held exclusively for people living with dementia and their caregivers to attend together! No RSVP required. Snacks provided! Just pop on in! Questions? Please call 877-851-1440.
